Hi Parents, Grandparents and Carers,
As I’m sure you’ll know from the latest government announcement, grassroots football has been given the go-ahead to resume from w/c 28th March 2021.
We’re currently waiting for more information about the restart from the Football Association, Lancashire FA and our local leagues. We understand that the season can be extended to the end of June 2021, which is good news but we’re not sure yet exactly what format the rest of the season may take. We will, however, share more details with you as and when they become available.
In the meantime, I think we’re all just happy that football is coming back and the kids will be able to join up with their friends and teammates to play the game again. The club will ensure that football is delivered in a safe environment and we’ll need your help to do this through the use of facemasks, following the social distance rules and continued good hygiene.
As ever, I’d like to thank you all for your wonderful support over this difficult time, which is massively appreciated by everyone at the club.
